As Operational Geotechs’ east coast operations manager, Mairi’s technical competence and client-focused service are exemplary. As well as managing all east coast client requirements and visiting project sites, Mairi provides key leadership, mentoring and support to our eastern-based geotechnical engineers on secondment. She also ensures our team undertakes ongoing training and is fully resourced to be able to deliver timely and trusted on-site engineering support.

Mairi completed a Bachelor of Science (Geology/Earth Science) at the University of Otago in 2010. Mairi spent two years as an underground mine geologist at a West Australian nickel mine, prior to moving into a geotechnical role where she worked at gold and nickel mining operations in Western Australia. Her passion for geotechnical engineering motivated her to attained a Master of Engineering Science from Curtin University in 2015
